Current Blackboard System Status and Reported Issues

2-18-12
Beginning at midnight on Saturday, February 18th until 6:00am February 19th, my.csufresno.edu underwent a scheduled maintenance. During this time users may have only been able to login to Blackboard through blackboard.csufresno.edu.

Beginning at 4:40pm users may have experienced issues using several Blackboard tools. This issue was resolved by 5:00pm.

Technology Services performed a scheduled a maintenance to blackboard.csufresno.edu on Wednesday, January 18 beginning at 10:00 pm. The estimated downtime was less than 30 minutes.

Blackboard was taken offline for a schedule update and maintenance beginning Tuesday, December 27 and ending Thursday, December 29.

Between 6:00pm and midnight instructors may have experienced issues when trying to submit grades. In addition, students may have received error messages when trying to submit an Assignment or a Test.

Between 6:00pm and and 9:30pm Blackboard experienced a database related issue. During this time users may not have been able to add new content or submit assignments/quizzes.

Between 3:00am and 9:00am Blackboard performed maintenance for SafeAssign. During this time the SafeAssign may not have been available.

Due to a campus Central Authentication Service (CAS) maintenance, Blackboard may have been unavailable to users between 10:00 and 11:00 pm.

Blackboard was offline for a necessary hardware upgrade Saturday, June 4 through Monday, June 6.

10:00pm until 8:30am 2-25-11, the campus web service was not available. During this time Blackboard was up and running, but users may have not been able to gain access through www.csufresno.edu or blackboard.csufresno.edu. This was not a Blackboard related issue.

Individuals were unable to login to Blackboard through CAS between 8:00 and 10:30 pm.

A Blackboard maintenance was performed Thursday, February 10 beginning at 10PM to resolve a Course Cartridge download issue. The system was back online by 11:00PM that same evening.

Streaming Service Offline. Due to a hardware failure, streaming videos and audios were not available from February 4 until 5:00 pm on Monday, February 7.

A file system related issue was reported the morning of February 4th and the problem was resolved at 8:55am. During this system issue, parts of Blackboard may not have been accessible to users.
